日曜日に結婚式がありました。これは、新郎と新婦が神様と会衆一同の前で誓約をし、夫婦となったときに読まれる聖句です。

イエスは答えて言われた、「あなたがたはまだ読んだことがないのか。『創造者は初めから人を男と女とに造られ、そして言われた、それゆえに、人は父母を離れ、その妻と結ばれ、ふたりの者は一体となるべきである』。彼らはもはや、ふたりではなく一体である。だから、神が合わせられたものを、人は離してはならない」。

（新約聖書　マタイによる福音書19：4～6　口語訳）

これは非常に厳粛な宣言です。聖書によれば、結婚という結びつきは人間によるものではなく、「神が合わせられたもの」なのです。それゆえに、その結びつきを人間が解くことを聖書は禁止しています。

結婚式の後、実家に帰りました。両親とゆっくりとした時間を過ごすことが出来ました。それぞれに歳を重ね、以前出来ていたことが以前のように出来なくなってきた両親ですが、それでもお互いをいたわり支え合っている両親の姿を見たときに胸が熱くなりました。

「ずいぶん長い時間が過ぎちゃったけど、ぼくたちは神様の前で誓約して夫婦になったんだよね～」という父の言葉を聞きながら、再び先の聖書の言葉を思い出しました。

結婚生活には大小様々な波があります。「波」があることが問題なのではありません。その「波」が来たときに、すがることのできる確かなものを二人が知っているということが重要なのではないでしょうか。神様によって結び合わされて新しい出発をした若い2人の上に、神様の祝福を心からお祈りいたします。

I got a wedding ceremony on Sunday. This is the Scripture that I have read when the bride and groom did a marriage vow.

“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?  So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”(Matthew 19:4-6 NIV)

It is very solemn declaration. According to the Bible, the bond of marriage is not made by humans. It was set on by God. Because of it, Bible don’t allow separate the couple by human.

I went to my parents house after the wedding ceremony. I was able to spent relax time with my parents. They have gradually become unable to do what they had before themselves. Because they got old. However, they support each other and live.

“We did marriage vow in front of God when we were young, and we live for long time together until now, so we are very happy.” my father said.

When I listened his saying, I remembered that Scripture again.

There are many waves in our life. However, the fact that there is a “wave” is not a problem. Blessed is the one who knows the hiding place to go when the “wave” comes.

I pray that may God protect the young couple when even if they meet with the big “wave”.

イスラエルの民は、神様によって特別に選ばれ祝福されていました。しかし、旧約聖書には、彼らが神様の教えに背いて堕落していった様子が繰り返し記録されています。彼らの神様との関係は破綻し、国は乱れていきました。

そんなイスラエルの民を回復させるために、神様は預言者たちを通して彼らに語りかけられました。エゼキエルは神様から幻を示されました。そこには、谷一面に広がるおびただしい数の枯れた骨がありました。

そのとき、主はわたしに言われた。「人の子よ、これらの骨は生き返ることができるか。」わたしは答えた。「主なる神よ、あなたのみがご存じです。」そこで、主はわたしに言われた。「これらの骨に向かって預言し、彼らに言いなさい。枯れた骨よ、主の言葉を聞け。

なんとも不気味な光景です。しかし、この「枯れた骨」は神様を見失ったイスラエルの民の姿でした。イスラエルの民だけでなく、私たちもしばしば夏の日照りで乾ききった草花のように、身も心も枯れ果ててしまうような状態に陥ってしまうことがないでしょうか。

聖書は、神様こそが命の源であり、神様だけが枯れてしまったものに命を吹き込むことが出来ると教えています。もしも今、私たちが行き詰まり、生きる力が枯れ果てているとしても、神様は私たちに呼びかけてくださるのです。「枯れた骨よ、主の言葉を聞け。…見よ、わたしはお前たちの中に霊を吹き込む。すると、お前たちは生き返る」（同4，5節）と。

The people of Israel were chosen by God and blessed. However, according to the Old testament, they didn’t obey God and they had gone astray.

God sent a prophet to restore them. God told the people of Israel through them. Ezekiel was one of the prophets. God showed visions to him.

There was a valley filled with dry bones.

He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! (Ezekiel 37:3,4 NIV)

It was an eerie landscape! Those bones symbolized the state of the people of Israel. And there is a day we also lose our vitality and motivation to live. Like a “Dry bone”.

The Bible teaches that only God is the source of life. God can give us life. Even if we were withered.

If now you are losing your energy, you will be able to hear this call of God.

Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life(Ezekiel 37:4,5 NIV).

Severe heat is continuing in Japan. How have you been?

The Japan Meteorological Agency gave a press conference on July 23.

They warned. “This is the heat that brings the danger of life, it is a kind of disaster.”

Recently, sales of sports drinks have increased substantially in Japan. Because of these intensive heat.

“Thirst” is a sign from the body. It is necessary to keep our body healthy.

If we ignore this sign, our body will become serious serious condition.

“Take water constantly when you exercise” is said. Before you feel thirsty.

We need water and food not only for body, but also for spirit.

“The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord,
    “when I will send a famine through the land—
not a famine of food or a thirst for water,
    but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord(Amos 8:11 NIV).

We may be able to live without the word of God. But God said to us“I will send a famine through the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.”

If we feel that “My spirit is not satisfied” “My heart is tired”, it might be a sign from our spirit.

This is an invitation from God to us.

 Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life(Revelation 22:17 NIV).

厳しい暑さが全国的に続きましたが、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。7月23日には、気象庁が緊急会見を開き、この酷暑を「命に危険があるような暑さで災害と認識している」と述べて、熱中症などに十分な対策をとるよう呼びかけました。

この酷暑を受けて、清涼飲料水、特にスポーツドリンクの売り上げが大きく伸びているそうです。

「渇き」は、身体が健康な状態を保つためのサインです。このサインを無視し続けると、身体は脱水症状になり、危険な状態になってしまいます。運動をするときには「喉の渇きを感じる前にこまめに水分を摂りなさい」と言われます。

私たちの身体だけでなく、私たちの心にも水分や栄養分が必要です。

見よ、その日が来ればと／主なる神は言われる。わたしは大地に飢えを送る。それはパンに飢えることでもなく／水に渇くことでもなく／主の言葉を聞くことのできぬ飢えと渇きだ。

「私はこれまで聖書を全く読まなくても、生きることが出来た」という方もおられるでしょう。しかし、神様は私たちに「主の言葉を聞くことのできぬ飢えと渇きを送る」と言われました。「何故なのか分からないけど、心が満たされていない」「心が疲れた」それは、私たちの心が命の水の源である神様の言葉を欲しているサインなのかもしれません。

神様はそんな私たちを優しく招いておられます。

「渇いている者は来るがよい。命の水が欲しい者は、価なしに飲むがよい。」（新約聖書　ヨハネの黙示録22：17　新共同訳）

韓国での研修を終えて無事に帰国しました。今回もたくさんのことを学ぶことが出来ました。ある先生から教わったことをご紹介させていただきます。

誰しも心身が疲れて憂うつな気持ちで一日を始めなければならないことがあると思います。わたしも時々そのようなことがあるのですが、そのことをその先生に話すと、先生は「次のそういうことがあったらぜひこれを試してみてね！」と言って聖句を教えてくれました。

いと高き神のもとに身を寄せて隠れ／全能の神の陰に宿る人よ

 主に申し上げよ／「わたしの避けどころ、砦／わたしの神、依り頼む方」と。

 神はあなたを救い出してくださる／仕掛けられた罠から、陥れる言葉から。

（旧約聖書　詩編91：1～3　新共同訳）

心が不安や恐れ、悲観的な思いで支配されてしまうとき、この詩編91篇を繰り返し読むことを強く勧められました。確かにこの章全体を繰り返し読むとき、少しずつ自分の心の焦点が、否定的で移ろいやすい自分の感情から、決して変わることのない神様の真実さにシフトされてゆくのを感じま

した。

イエス様は「何を聞いているかに注意しなさい」と言われました（マルコ4：24）。時にわたしたちは周囲からの評価によって一喜一憂し、また自分心の中から聞こえて来る否定的な声に苦しみます。しかし私たちがそれらの声ではなく、神様の言葉に耳を傾け、それを土台とすることを選ぶとき、厳しく困難な現実の中にあっても確かな平安の中に生きることが出来るのです。

Finally, our training program have finished and I came home safely. I learned many things through this program. I would like to share one of them.

Sometimes, we are facing difficulty, and have struggle. So our feeling are getting worse at that time.

One day, I talked with my teacher about my struggle. Then she recommended me a Bible chapter. It was Psalm 91.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.(Psalm 91:1-3 NIV)

Indeed it was very effective for me. When I read Psalm 91 whole chapter repeatedly, my heart was changing.

It made me focus on His word not to my feeling.

Our feeling are easy to change, it is unstable. However His word isn’t change forever.

“Consider carefully what you hear,” Jesus said(Mark 4:24 NIV).

When I listened about my evaluation from other people’s voice, my feeling were up and sometimes down. My voice also said to myself, “You are bad person”. so my feeling were getting worse.  But if I listen to His word, it makes me happy and stable. Because His word has life always.

May God bless you, and your heart will filled by His word always.

韓国・済州島での研修の一週目が終わろうとしています。2年間に4回開催されてきた最後の研修です。懐かしい仲間や先生方と再会を喜び合った一方で、何人かの仲間たちとは会うことが出来ませんでした。それぞれ仕事や教会の事情で、今回の研修に参加出来なかったのです。新しい働きのためにパラグアイに旅立った仲間もいます。

「さあ、立て。ここから出かけよう。」

　　　(新約聖書ヨハネによる福音書14:31　新共同訳)

弟子たちと3年半、非常に中身の濃い時間を過ごされたイエス様が、間もなく弟子たちと別れようとしたときに、彼らに呼びかけて言われた言葉です。

イエス様が弟子たちと共に時間を過ごされたのは、仲間内で楽しい思い出を作るためではありませんでした。「ここから出かけよう。」・・・すなわち訓練を受け、それぞれに与えられている大切な働きに向かって出て行くためでした。

イエス様と弟子たちだけでなく、私たちの人生にも様々な出会いと別れがあります。親しく時間を過ごした仲間と離ればなれになるのは寂しいことですが、このイエス様の言葉を読むときに、前を向いて自分に与えられた道を前進していくように励まされる思いになりました。
